Hi friends!
Happy New Year! January often feels like “The Great Reset” and it’s a unique mix of excitement and overwhelm as we look to the year ahead. I hope you’ve had a moment over the last two weeks to sit in some quiet and lean into more of the excitement, vs. the overwhelm.
With the New Year making me think through resets and as we approach the one-year anniversary of TR9 (I can’t believe it’s been a year…), I’ve been meditating on how to make this space more impactful. When I launched last February, I had grand ambitions for a three-day-a-week cadence. But based on some feedback, it’s time to evolve:
The Feedback: "Sometimes it’s too much to digest in a busy day." “There’s so much content!”
My Insight: Tried and true, quality beats quantity. I want to be more efficient with your time and my words.
The Ethos remains the same: Using structure to find freedom and be more intentional. We are still following the natural rhythm of the week, but we are streamlining.
Instead of three sub-topics per post, I am moving to a singular focus for each day:
Mondays: The Intention. Locking in and setting the tone for the week ahead.
Wednesdays: The Reflection. Pausing to look at one thing we’ve learned mid-week.
Fridays: The Food for Thought. A question or idea to carry us into the weekend.
While I’ve loved sharing my music, movement, and fashion recs, this shift allows me to prioritize the quality of the message. It makes TR9 a quicker, more accessible read amidst our busy lives.
Thank you for growing with me. I’ll see you back here on January 19th to start our new chapter.
XO,
Y
