Motivation

I wouldn’t call myself an avid sports fan—not yet, anyway. I love fitness, but watching games on TV has never really been my thing. Maybe that’s because watching TV in general isn’t my thing.
That’s beside the point…These past couple of weeks have reminded me that I’m human. I’ve felt stretched, humbled, and reminded that I can’t do it all, and I definitely can’t do it all perfectly. Life has a way of nudging you back into reality, reminding you that you’re human.
The above is one of Dylan’s favorite quotes. He always goes back to it. He reminded me of it earlier this week (Dyl even submitted it to his office’s quote wall, which made me smile) Dyl reminded that what is in my control are the three things Brady names: consistency, determination, and the willingness to work for it. That’s the mindset I’m trying to hold onto.
Consistency doesn’t mean every day is a win. It means showing up, even when it’s messy or slow
Determination isn’t loud. Sometimes it’s just choosing not to quit, even when no one’s watching
No shortcuts means no shame. The long way builds something real and that’s worth it
Intention for the Week: Pick one thing that matters. Show up for it with consistency, quiet determination, and zero shortcuts.
